Know how long every plumbing job took.
Tap Start when you begin work. Pause while you fetch a part. Resume when you’re back on the job. TapSpan keeps the labour, not the waiting.
A boiler repair, a missing part and a return visit.
Both visits are recorded against the same job for J. Kavanagh, so the total is waiting for you at the end.

Callouts
Start the Quick Timer as you walk in. Assign the customer and job when you have a minute.
Several jobs a day
Each customer and job keeps its own sessions and totals.
Forgot to start or stop?
Correct a session’s times, or add one manually after the job.
Hours for invoicing
Export to CSV and use the figures in the invoicing tool you already have.
A time recorder, not a job-management system
TapSpan doesn’t schedule jobs, plan routes, track your location or mileage, manage materials or stock, or send invoices to customers. It records the time you work, and nothing else about where you are.
Questions from the trade
Does it track where I am?
No. TapSpan doesn’t use location services.
Can a return visit go on the same job?
Yes. Choose the same job when you start, and the job’s total includes every visit.
What if I leave the timer running overnight?
TapSpan notices a long-running timer and offers to correct the time or finish the session. It never stops the timer on its own.
